FUNCTIONAL TRAINING
With each of my clients, I incorporate a blend of strength and cardiovascular training, yoga and physical therapy. I help clients with goals, such as building strength and improving overall fitness (i.e. weight loss, increasing lean muscle, and nutrition support).
I incorporate physical therapy techniques into my work, in order to help clients improve their biomechanics (i.e. range of motion, stabilization, posture, and injury prevention).
Another important part of training is helping my clients identify and actualize their health related goals by giving them the structure and support they need. This can be anything from regular check-ins to keep momentum going, to customized nutrition and fitness programs, depending on my clients’ needs.
Instead of focusing only on objective measures, I look at the big picture. I always strive for my clients to feel stronger and more capable than when they started.

pre & post natal
I absolutely love working with women during their motherhood journey, as it is such a special time, filled with joy and change. I support mommas in meeting the challenges of pregnancy, the postpartum period and beyond.
Together, we work on techniques to engage and strengthen the pelvic floor and deep abdominal muscles; in addition, we learn breathing, alignment, strength and endurance training, as well as stretching, with the goal of a smoother labor, minimizing or preventing Diastasis Recti, and optimizing postpartum recovery. We also work on developing strength and practicing techniques for safer
fundamental movements, so that women are equipped to meet the challenges that come with the journey.
I really consider the unique needs and goals of each of my clients, so I can support them in the best way possible. The ultimate for me is to see my mommas strong and healthy and feeling empowered.
nutrition coaching
I offer personalized nutrition and lifestyle coaching, in addition to my workout programs to promote a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. Working on nutrition to compliment fitness training is incredibly powerful and more conducive to seeing results than fitness training alone. I believe doing a program that encompasses both helps to illuminate a better understanding of how the two work together to create a healthy lifestyle.
I begin by getting to know my client (what their goals and habits are and where they struggle). I help them to establish accountability through creating a food diary, so they can understand what their current eating habits are; once they have an understanding of what their actual starting point is, they can start making small changes. I think it’s crucial that the changes we make are small and done little by little, as it can be both intimidating and ineffective to try and change too much and/or too much too quickly.
We monitor progress by taking objective and subjective measures and
tweaking the plan as needed. I support my clients throughout their journey with regular check-ins and troubleshooting, through phone, text, and/or virtually. My goal is to help my clients develop an enjoyable and balanced relationship to food and exercise, one that is attainable and delivers results.
